The facility houses thirteen ICU rooms each with capability of providing the best critical care services in the country.
To mitigate the most common problem of ICUs – which is hospital acquired infection, several things were built. The entrance and exit of ICU facility is unidirectional, each room were partitioned by glass instead of curtains, equipped with negative pressure system. To decrease patient exposure in transit, each room is also equipped with hemodialysis.
The unit likewise provides a safe and comfortable viewing area for the patient’s relatives, as well as a family meeting room where the patient’s attending physicians can privately update the relatives about the patient’s condition and possible treatment options.
